At The Rose Garden, we believe in the limitless potential of young women and girls. Our mission is to empower female youth to rise above societal challenges, break generational cycles of trauma, and build strong, self-affirming identities.

Empower young girls through our afterschool mentorship program, where female mentors provide guidance, support, and inspiration to help them navigate challenges and achieve their full potential.

Meet The Staff

Latesha Graham, Founder & Executive Director

As the founder of The Rose Garden, Latesha is a dynamic individual with a clear sense of purpose. Her passion for working with youth began in Virginia where she served on the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Human Services board as a volunteer before moving to NC. Her passion for advocating for female youth comes from her own experiences and the experiences of those close to her. Latesha is a certified at-risk youth worker and holds her Associate degree in Human Services while actively working towards her Masters Degree at Lees-McRae College.

Ernestine Booker, Director

Ernestine is a director at The Rose Garden. She is certified in nonprofit management and holds an Associate Degree in Human Services. She has years of experience working with youth and completed an internship at Florence Crittenton in Charlotte NC. Ernestine enjoys advocating for the empowerment of girls and believes in holistic approaches to mental health.
